Circumcision is regarded as a surgical procedure in which the foreskin is removed. There are different types of procedures used today for circumcision. The approach that makes most sense is to minimize the amount of pain and emotional, both to the infant and to the parents The best time to do the circumcision is between the first and second week, but I have done circumcision in babies up to one year of age.
